Do you own antiques or collectibles but have no idea of their worth?

It can be very expensive to find out the value of your antiques. Why not use the internet to find out more information about your antiques and collectibles, or even post the item for sale and find potential buyers of your antiques (all for free!).

Click here for a free antique appraisal. Submit a description and a photo of your antique and find collectors willing to help out by estimating their worth.

Are you a dedicated antique collector? Help out fellow antique collectors by submitting your estimate of the below antiques. AntiquesNavigator offers this service completely free of charge, but other than antique padlocks we are not experts on all antiques and collectibles. If you own an extremely rare antique that belongs in the Smithsonian, you're probably better off putting the antique up for auction with Sotherby! However, if you have more commons antiques and collectibles and are curious to their worth, then we can help! AntiquesNavigator does not guarantee the accuracy of the free appraisal, so it might be a good idea to wait until you get at least a couple of responses from our readers before deciding the value of your antique or collectible.

Thank you for visiting and we hope this free appraisal service helps you!

Submit your estimate of worth

Estimated Value submitted by Tim

Sorry, John, but your padlock is a fake and not even a good one. It wasn't made for Wells Fargo. It was probably made in India within the last 10 years. It's worth around $15-25 dollars. Here's bunch of examples:

Fake wells fargo padlock

Fake Wells Farog padlock with key

Replica Wells Fargo Padlock

I hope you didn't pay too much for it. There are some unscrupulous antique dealers who try to pass off reproductions as the real deal.

Price Paid (If known): ? Size and dimensions of this item: 26 inches tall-8.5 inches wide Weight: apprx. 30lbs. Condition: Excellent History: This piece was passed down from my great-grandfather, who came to the U.S. from Sicily in 1913. Not sure if he brought it with him from the old country. He lived in Chicago, then New Orleans, and finally, Sacramento. Long Description and Pictures (jpg, gif, png): This bronze statue has the name Hip Moreau on the bottom.. It is in perfect shape, but needs to be cleaned due to my mom and dad smoking in the house for 60 years! The statue is of a lady sitting on a stump holding a young child (not sure if girl or boy), who is holding a horn. The lady is only wearing a shear nightgown-looking piece of clothing with straps hanging over her shoulders. There is a flower on the right side on the base of the stump and branches on the left bottom. It is 26" tall and weighs apprx. 30lbs

PLEASE HELP

”The Richest Man in Babylon and Other Stories” by George Clason and published in Denver by The Clason Publishing Company. I have tried to research this book and have not found very much. I believe it to be the very first edition. According to the Library of Congress and OCLC WorldCat, there are only 2, possibly 3, copies of this book that they know of. It is in pretty good condition. Some of the pages are coming apart from the binding.

possible william H Chandler pastel

Submitted by: erica
Main Image

PLEASE HELP

this is a true pastel painting, i looked everywhere for a signature but did not find one. some of chandler's paintings were known to be in pairs and only one to be signed. so as pretty as this painting is im surprised there is no signature. the frame itself looks to be worn and old. i gently took the painting out and looked at it through a magnifying glass. i had to be careful not to touch the art since it was easily transferable as if it were caked on chalk. so i had to be careful not to smear anything. i didnt keep the painting out of the glass very long and gently placed it back in to the glass. i am not very good at studying art i just see what i know to be beautiful artwork and for now collect it for my walls. i would much rather have real art work on my walls than to have cheap prints. depending on the style of the art of coures. i am more favorable to nautical and seascapes. this piece is approx. 24" X 12" in the frame. thank u for your time.
