Click here for a free antique appraisal. Submit a description and a photo of your antique and find collectors willing to help out by estimating their worth.

Are you a dedicated antique collector? Help out fellow antique collectors by submitting your estimate of the below antiques. AntiquesNavigator offers this service completely free of charge, but other than antique padlocks we are not experts on all antiques and collectibles. However, if you have more commons antiques and collectibles and are curious to their worth, then we can help! AntiquesNavigator does not guarantee the accuracy of the free appraisal, so it might be a good idea to wait until you get at least a couple of responses from our readers before deciding the value of your antique or collectible.

childs rocker converted from potty chair

Submitted by:
Main Image

PLEASE HELP

This was an antique that my grandfather purchased at an antique store (grand Ma's attic )in Pennsylvania around the early 1900's my father has owned it since the 1950's and it now comes to me from my mother's estate. I have been told it was originally a child's potty chair that was converted to a rocker after the child grew, It is my understanding a rocker kit was sold for just this purpose I estimated the time period in the late 1800's however am not sure of the actual period. The rocker has been kept in excellent condition and if it were not for financial difficulties I would surly hold on to it. one antique dealer in luray saw pictures of the rocker and said if it is a converted rocker as suspected it would be worth a starting price of 30,000 and is unsure what a final price would bring with out having a personal look and inspection he could only estimate

antique bidet with ironstone liner

Submitted by:
Main Image

PLEASE HELP

My Great Aunt purchased this item in an Antique shop in Philadelphia in 1929. She thought it was an antique baby bath and purchased it as a gift for my Grandmother. The piece is intact with 3 pieces: the base on 3 legs, the ironstone liner by E.M.C.W. (or E.H.C.W.), and the lid. I believe the wood is mahogany. It is hour-glass shape; smaller at one end than the other. There are 2 curved legs at the larger end, and one leg at the smaller end. It is 22 1/4" long, 16 1/2" high, The widest end is 15", The narrowest is 13 3/4", and the middle is 13 1/4" wide. I have not refinished this or used any finish feeder, etc, so the finish just looks old. There is a half circle indent on each side of the inner wood at the top, to lift the liner. The underneath is not finished well, as the photos should show. The piece as a whole is intact, with no chips, cracks, or loosening of the wood. The liner has an old crack that has been there as long as my mother can remember (she is now 84 y.o.), but is otherwise intact. My parents traveled extensively and saw one they thought was identical at a castle in England. Thank you very much! I have had a great deal of difficulty with the photos, so if more are needed, please let me know and I will try again.

German(possibly Danish) sideboard credenza antiques

Submitted by: patel

PLEASE HELP

I have a sideboard credenza as well as some other piece of antique and was wondering how much each was worth, as in if I sold it to an antique store or maybe an auctioning website. Writing on the back has led me to believe that it was made by the company Reim Wohndesign in Nuernberg, Germany. But it also really closely resembles a Sideboard By Gunni Omann Teak No. 18 1961 Danish Modern 60s Credenza. That I found online at http://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/storage-case-pieces/credenzas/sideboard-gunni-omann-teak-no-18-1961-danish-modern-60s-credenza/id-f_1080972/ I made a album on Imgur, here's the link: http://imgur.com/a/HkLb8 Thank you, Dhiren

PLEASE HELP

I have found out that it is a piece done by HP Sinclaire, an artist more famously known for working at the Corning Glass, Co. It is a Limoges tankard blank that has been hand painted with purple grapes and vine. It has a teal bottom and the Ravenwood logo. I have only found three other pieces known to be from the Ravenwood studio and none of them a tankard. If anyone can help give me an idea of the value (if any) so I can decide whether or not to sell it. Thanks in advance!
