I have a rubber bear from my childhood. From what I have been able to find on the internet it is from the 1950s. It has moveable joints. It is pink tinged in color with the ears, palms and bottom of the feet being dark pink in color. The fur is "carved" into the rubber. There are no idenitifying marks on the bear but is looks exactly like one I found on the internet that was made by "Big Sun".

A pair of 2 left and right figurines are in beautiful conditon, made in occupied Japan during WWII. The man is standing on the inside on both of them.
Unlike most I have seen these are approx. 7" inches tall and 4 1/2" inches along the base. Also these are not painted glossy. They are hand painted in a matte pastel and rough to the touch.
This is a European 1700's couple with the woman seated and the man standing next to her holding his feathered hat against his body

I have a Framed painting that my Grandmother had in her living room. I've had it for yrs and I'm trying to figure out who painted it and if it is worth anything. I have pictures of it but apparently I can't add them to this. Its in very good condition. The painting has an oval mat over it. It is a painting of ancient ruins, with men seeming to find artifacts and other items in the ruins. The painting is protected by the glass but the paint seem to have "cracks" in it. Again hard to describe, its better to actually see the painting.

I have what appears to be a copper plate with 3 feet (bumps) attached to the under side. The plate is very crudely made...not finished smooth on the edge and not painted. The plate has a scalloped edge which looks like it was hand cut with metal-working sheers...and not even. The plate is somewhat heavy, too. The design is Egyptian, possibly from the Book of the Dead...and is hand etched.

hand hammered tin with wood bottom embossed with sun in the center, stars in the corners and a half-circle boarder around the edges. It has william Spratling's earliest mark (early 1930s) It has curved handles of tin and the tin sides are also embossed with a half circle border. the wood has some water damage but overall I would say it is in fair condition.

I'm not sure if this whistle is from WWII or not. It belonged to my grandfather who came here from Germany in 1951. The whistle is brass with chain and has "The Thunderer Patent" stamped on top lip and "Claytons Chicago made in England" stamped on the back. I am trying to find out more info on the history of this as well as value. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thunderer patented whistles were used during WWII, but they're usually marked military and have a slightly different chain hook:

Anton Ostertag Mansion built in the mid 1800's Atchison, KS
Glass Window located above victorian marble fireplace. Looks like a famous work of art no doubt. Was told by local historians that the window has a hidden mural of horse and carriage.
The big question is what artisit made this glass? Could it have been someone famous like John La Farge or
Louis Comfort Tifany? The window sash has writing but it not legible enough to read.
History of Anton:
The Carriage and Wagon-making interests of the city are represented by J. C. McCully, Sixth street; J. J. Potter, on Main street, carriage makers, and George & J. Ostertag, in the wagon-making line. In the aggregate they employ thirty-six men, and sell wagons and carriages to the amount of $40,000. The pioneer in the wagon, plow and buggy trade was Anton Ostertag, who commenced business in Atchison in 1870. The firm now occupy commodious quarters near the corner of Seventh and Commercial streets.

More treasure found at 409 the old museum/pony express house in Atchison, Atchison Kansas Found "The Farmers National Bank - Burlington, Kansas" Employee Badge? from 1901 Looks like a sherrifs badge from back in the wild wild west days. Brass in great condition.

Nice find! Employee badges are definitely collectible. The car company employee badges are very popular among car buffs. I haven't seen a big following for bank employee badges, but I'm sure there are collectors out there!
I would place a value of roughly $50-100 dollars on your 1901 Farmers National Bank employee badge. I've never seen one like it before, but not many people are looking specifically for Farmers National bank -- Burlington, Kansas employee badges.
I appreciate you sharing the badge with us. As I said, it's a great find, and a wonderful piece of American History.

This is a capodimonte bagpipper piece with the markings on the bottom "n" and 0/438. It is in very good condition with the exception of the bucket of fruit has a cracked leaf (very small/hardly noticeable to me anyway). I would like to sell this piece, but I am not sure of how much to ask. Approximately 8" tall with a round base - boy sitting on a tree stump playing the bags.

I have some bad news...Your vintage Germany George Fischer tin toy motorcycle is incomplete and the rider has been added. Here's what it should look like:
Gama (Germany) No.125 Monkey on Motorcycle
As you can see, the motorcycle came with a tin monkey driver. I say your tin motorcyle in its present condition is worth $25-50 dollars. If your Gama (Germany) No.125 Monkey on Motorcycle tin toy was complete it would be worth close to $500 dollars.

My wife purchased a chair at an estate auction. It has round arms about 21/2" thick with what looks like eagles carved into them. Across the top it has the same pattern carved all the way across. At the bottom between the front legs it has a carving of an old man's face. It weights about 15 to 20 pounds and has a reddish varnish finish. I once posted pictures on the internet and a lady in Boston Mass. said that she had one, but had no information on it.

The lamp is Orange glass that bubbule out and there is a small 2 watt light bulb that allows the lamp to be lit only at the bottom for accent if you choose. The base is brass and claw like.

Good day, I have a set of 3: necklace,pendant,bracelet. Which resembles a jewellery piece shown on your catalogue, page 325.(Antique 18kt persian turquoise necklace by famous Terrell & Zimmelman). Unfortunately, old console turntables and radios are not usually worth a lot of money. Sometimes you can't even give them away. However, your old console turntable makes a great curio cabinet, so at least it has that value. I would give your vintage turntable a value of between $100-200 dollars. Wow, you have a impressive Mickey Mouse figurine!! The master mold that is figurine was produced from sold for $22,000 dollars! The Weiss, Kuehnert and Co Porcelain Factory in Thuringia, Germany made this porcelain figurines without license from 1928 to 1932. I couldn't find this exact figurine at had sold in the past, but here's a similar licensed Rosenthal one from 1932:

I believe your 1928 Mickey Mouse porcelain figurine is worth between $900-1800 dollars, depending on the buyer. If you find the right buyer, your figurine could easily fetch the upper number.
