I would say your 1800 Ulster County Gazette newspaper articles are worth $200-300 dollars. If the articles had a more historical importance, they might be worth quite a bit more, but as they stand they're just a curiosity.

These two signs were fully operational when I had this store open. They were taken from a liquor store in Nevada Mo. and moved to this store in the 70's.A roof fire caused damage to the neon on the package liquor sign by a fireman. I am in the process of removing them and would like an appraisal.I think the arrow is from the 40's and 50's, so I am assuming the package liquor sign would have been the same time frame.I am wanting to replace the bulbs get them operational and clean them up for sale but have no idea what they are worth.I greatly appreciate your appraisal so I will know what to price them at.

I have a vintage 11 or 12 inch Reddish Brown Teddy bear that looks to be center seam, with a long snout, and filled with excelsoir, as his body crunches when I squeeze him. His joints I can see are made of cardboard that is round which looks like a metal hinge. Still has some curly reddish brown fur. Nose is black stitching which forms into a v shaped mouth. He has small black and brown glass eyes. Overall condition, pretty good, his center seam shows a small area of the excelsior, and he's lost some of his curly fur. Paw Pads are still nice, very old, and he's got lots of character. Just want to find out his origin.

Sorry if this is a duplicate, but my frist request is not showing anywhere. Being new to the site I thought it prudent to resubmit.
I recently puchased a small Inuit scuplture entitled Tundra. I've seen similiar one on the web. The difference with mine is that it seems to have the artist mark that can be seen on the back under Tundra.
Could someon advise me of the value and/or provide any information about the mark.

Hi Jacques,
Sorry we missed your request the first time and thanks for your patience.
Your soapstone Intuit statue is a piece of folk art and since its hand-made its value is in the eye of the beholder. I would guess your small sculpture would sell for around $10-30 dollars, but again its a piece of art, so it could sell for much more to the right buyer.
A similar statue when up for auction about a week ago, but it didn't sell. The starting price was $9.99.

This a Bailey, Banks and Biddle Clock - Philadelphia. It is either walnut or mahogany - not an expert on wood. It chimes. It is 13 1/2 inches tall and 10 1/2 inches wide at the base. Was recently repaired but apparently the job was not done correctly as it is not currently working. As can be seen it is in nice condition. Perhaps someone can give me an estimate on its value. Hi Charles,

Canyon Records history
Canyon Records have been recording Native American works since 1948. I've never seen their records for sale, so its only a guess, but I would say your records are worth $10-15 a piece.
Good luck and hopefully someone else might be able to give you a better estimate for the value of your native American record collection.

I have an enamel & copper pan with a black removeable handle. On the handle it say May 23, 1899 (above the date there's three characters I can't quite make out, looks like middle one is an A). On the bottom of the pan there's an image of a lion standing on back legs looking towards his tail, front feet appear to be resting on a stand. Underneath the lion is says Germany and underneath that is written 310.
It's white porcelain with a band of copper near the top and then a band of copper above that. Thank you.

I bought this "knife/dagger" at a flea market. I was looking for anyone that might have information on it. The blade is about 7" and the OA length is about 10". On one side the blade is engraved with Mexican scrolling and the words "Hecho en" (made in). The other side is engraved with Mexican scrolling and the name "Carolina"(Caroline) and the worde "Mexico".
The handle is made of brass with what appears to be either bone or ivory. The in lays are a little ill fitting so it appears to be handmade. The pictures aren't very good, but you can an idea of the knife. Any information anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

This has holes on the flat back for hanging. There are 2 hinged doors on the bottom and 1 hinged door on the top center with opened slat like areas in the front.
This piece was found in an abandoned farmhouse in southern Wisconsin but there are no other marks or explanations to the use or to the maker.
