Hi Jennifer,

I believe your 1899 Ullman Mfg co print of Jesus is worth between $100 and $200 dollars.  I've never seen that exact print from the Ullman Mfg co., but their prints from that time period usually sell in that price range.

Hi Nicole,

Your WWII Japanese big eye binoculars are pretty rare and valuable.  Yours are also in excellent condition.  These binoculars usually sell in the $2000-6000 dollar price range, but obviously finding a buyer in that range is more difficult than standard antique prices.

Thanks for sharing.

Water pitcher set Looking to see if this is a Carnival set or what brand and its worth. water pitcher and 12 glasses

Submit your estimate of worth

Estimated Value submitted by Tim

Hi Sande,

Your have a 1950's carnival glass pitcher and glasses.  It's technically not depression glass, since it was manufactured way after the depression.  They were manufactured by the Jeannette Glass Company.  Here's a link for more information about the manufacturer:

http://www.carnivalheaven.com/carnivalglass101/id169.htm

The pattern is called Floragold - Marigold Iridescent.  As far as value, the pitcher is worth around $25 dollars and the glasses usually sell for around $5 each.

Here are a few examples of similar pieces that have sold in the past:

Antique WWII Era Maruni Lacquerware Vases from Occupied Japan

Submitted by:
Main Image

PLEASE HELP

This is the information disclosed when I bought the vases. I purchased them separately but think they would be a more valuable pair. Any further information and or price appraisal would be great. Unique and collectible antique vases. They were made in Occupied Japan, patented, hand crafted Lacquerware by Maruni. The technique is lacquer over metal with unique subject matter in the hand painted designs. Marked CPO in a diamond, this symbol was used by the Central Purchasing Office of the US Navy for marking items made during the U.S. occupation of Japan, post-WWII, that were available for sale to members of the U.S. military. Good used condition, with moderate wear appropriate to age, and a possible small flaw or two Each vase measures 13.25" tall and 17.5" in diameter at its widest point. The top opening is 5" in diameter.

Wilcox Black American Cigar Ash Tray

PLEASE HELP

I found the Hallmark and info on the Wilcox Silver Company: Wilcox Silver plate Co Meriden, CT organized in 1865 by Jedediah and Horace Wilcox. Wilcox Silver Plate Co. (William Erik Voss) Founded in 1865, with Jedediah and Horace Wilcox, Charles Parker, Aaron Collins, Hezekiah Miller as the primary partners, as the Wilcox Britannia Company in Meriden CT. The name was changed in 1867. It was later one of the founding companies of International Silver in 1898. The company plant was closed in 1941 due to the war metal shortage. After the war, its house designs were made by other International factories, but the company as a seperate entity was not revived. In 1961, various divisions were consolidated and its name was changed to Webster-Wilcox. The word “quadruple” which appears on the hallmark was not used after 1900. So the piece must be older than 1900. - Possible as old as 1989 or older because Wilcox became part of the International Silver Company in 1989. In 1898 Wilcox became part of the International Silver Company. Many smaller companies banded together to form the International Silver Co. After 1900 most of the smaller company names ceased to be. Sources: Hallmark: Under Wilcox Silver Company: http://www.silvercollection.it/AMERICANSILVERPLATEMARKSTZQUATTRO.html History of Company: http://doddcenter.uconn.edu/asc/findaids/ISC/MSS19800008.html#d0e32 http://www.smpub.com/ubb/Forum21/HTML/001368.html http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~silversmiths/makers/silversmiths/151718.htm I found similar item(s) on the internet for sale: http://bridgesovertime.com/unusual-black-americana-cigar-ashtray-wilcox/ This one said it has a wick and lighting mechanism – mine does not and the bowl looks different. Did they have lighting mechanisms in the late 1800’s? My hallmark is located on the bottom rim not bottom middle as in this piece. But it appears to be the same hallmark. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/313281717802284045/

French Inkwell

Submitted by: Tracey

PLEASE HELP

I bought this inkwell from a man who bought it in France on his travels. I thought it was pretty but I think it has its top knob missing from the lid and does not seem to have any ceramic pot for the ink, not sure if it would have had one. I would just like to know what age it would be and era and a little bit more about it. It has aged to quite a turquoise patina and I presume it is brass not bronze as it is more golden than brown. Its size is 7 inches wide by six inches and the top of the pot is at about 2 1/2 inches high. I have not seen one with four quill rests before. It has a hinged lid and the pot is removable from the stand. There are some marks on the bottom but I cant find any list that says when, where or who made it. It has the number 2736 and under that it looks like a P in a D. Toying with the idea of cleaning it but at the moment I quite like the verdigris patina. Any info would be useful thank you.
