AntiquesNavigator offers this service completely free of charge, but other than antique padlocks we are not experts on all antiques and collectibles. Reed & Barton loving / trophy cup. #230, Tri handle, 8 1/2" high, base 4" in diamater. Pewter, no dent. Inscribed "Cotuit Knockabout Race Aug. 25th 1902" on one side, reverse says "Second Prize Won By Moya".

Submit your estimate of worth

Estimated Value submitted by Tim

Hi Mike,

Your 1902 antique pewter trophy is worth around $100-200 dollars.  As far as I can tell the Cotuit Knockabout is a yacht club race held off the Massachusetts coast.  If the trophy was from a more significant venue then the value would be much higher.

With only seeing the maker's mark on your antique footed bowl, the estimate is going to be in a pretty wide range.  Capo-di-monte bowls sell in the $10-200 dollar range, depending on the pattern and rarity of the piece.

This stove was my Dads pride and joy. He acquired it at an auction when I was very young. I used to sit in the basement and watch him work on it. He passed away almost ten years ago and Ive owned it ever since. I have no interest in selling it, Im just curious as to any information I can get on it ( what year it was made, any local ties and approximate value)...its priceless to me for obvious sentimental reasons. It says Olive Stove Works Rochester, Pa in the largest section on the front. It says Olive Oak on the smallest front door and has a #14 on the top. All pieces are here and it is in very good condition, no rust or wear and tear.

Hi Renae,

Wow, you have a beautiful piece of art!  Absolutely, wonderful and with a colorful history too!

Your 1893 World's Columbian Exposition iron cast pitcher is worth between $1200-1500 dollars.  However, its so rare that I haven't seen this piece or a similar one go up for sale, so the price is just an estimate.  In an auction, with the right set of buyers bidding, it could go up much higher.

Thanks for sharing.

The item is approx 5x7 inches-although irregular. I assume it is an ashtray as it looks like cigs could sit in it. It does have a clear edge if held to light. Some of the piece is very smooth and the usual texture of milk glass, but mixed in are very porous areas. It may have a mark on the bottom of “3 petals” but unsure as other areas look like the glass bubbled when prepared and left pock marks. It has inward scrolled edges on the thickest part of the edges, no legs, no specific little divets for a cigarette.

It depends on what your Chelsea clock company US maritime clock looks like.  Do you have the brass model or the black phenolic resin case style?

The brass maritime clocks typically sell in the $500-700 dollar range, whereas the black phenolic resin case clocks sell in the $250-350 dollar range.

If you upload or email us a photo, we should be able to narrow the price range down some more.
