PLEASE HELPThis is a beautiful and elegant Japanese enamel cloisonne vase with a lovely bird motif on a rich semi glossy burgundy/deep cherry background with fine gold tone paint and mother of pearl detailing. This piece stands 8.75" and is about 4" across at widest point. There are a few minute chips at the back of the vase where there are no images (the solid coloured part of the vase), as well as at the top. Bottom has : 'Made in Japan' label.
