PLEASE HELPIt's an iron padlock shaped like a diamond. It has the points at the top of the lock cut off at a 22.5 degree angle, where the lock catch is. It's flat and approximately 1/4" thick. Closed it is 2 1/4" from top to bottom.From cut off tip to cut off tip, it is 2". The latch is 1.5" across. The keyhole is a flat key with a right bottom angle on key hole. Held together with three brad type pins on the two left points and one holding the latch (off-center).mechanism opens from the left. No key But mechanism is moveable. Submit your estimate of worth |

You have an eagle padlock that was patented in 1896, but it was sold for many years after that date. It's probably from the 1920's or 1930's.
