PLEASE HELPHello, I have a metal Coca Cola cooler that's been in my house for 60+ years. It was made by Acton Mfg. Co. Inc., 1951 patent #D-152580. I see many similar coolers online but I can't find one exactly like mine. My cooler has the logo "Drink Coca Cola" in raised lettering stamped on the front & back, but on one of those sides the logo was stamped way off center. My cooler also does not have a drain hole at all. Does this production error or missing drain make the cooler special or more valuable? Thank you, Robin Kelly Submit your estimate of worth |

Hi Robin, I believe what you have is the first in the series of Metal Coolers made by the Action Mfg. Company of Arkansas made in 1949. In the later part of 1951 they added the drain and later that year the opener was added to the handle. I would estimate your cooler between $150 to $225 in today's market. Thanks,
