Hi Brittany, You and your husband have an antique gate lock, from the picture yours seems broken (the hasp is missing?). There are many reproductions, but yours appears authentic. Its probably from the mid to late 1800s. They sell in the $50-150 dollar range, but since your lock isn't in the best shape, its probably valued in the lower end of that range.
