Description
Here’s a lovely pair of frosted pink Houze glass 1920’s-1930’s boudoir lamps, with eggshell shaped shades. They each stand about 10″ tall, with a 4″ base. One of the shades has a darker area on the lip that hangs on the holder, I soaked it overnight and it wouldn’t come clean, the good news is, it won’t show when it’s in place! These are a MUST HAVE, I know, I have the same pair in blue.
Interesting side note *** In 1899 Leon Houze came to Point Marion to build the Jeanette Glass Co. He returned in 1902 to build the Federated Glass Company. History notes that he built yet another glass plant in Point Marion, including Houze Portrait Glass and was eventually renamed Houze Window Glass & L.J.
