Description
There are many Brass/Copper Teapots on the market and I have looked at literally hundreds of listings and photos all over the internet and have found none that even come close to the Beauty, the Craftsmanship or the Quality of this Teapot. This Rare Find, A Copper and Brass Tea Kettle/Tea Pot, is from an Estate Sale where I also found two other George III Quality Tea Kettles from the early 1800s. This is a Rare and Unique Copper and Brass Tea Kettle with a Stand and Burner. The Kettle and Stand have Porcelain or Ceramic Type Handles. An additional component is what appears to be some type of Stone Insert for holding the heat (see photos # 11 & 12). Inscribed inside the Lid is “Wilson”, “King Street” “Manchester”. The Rim of the Lid bears the Numbers 102 and 30T. The bottom of the fuel tank has the Letters “A B”. After spending hours of searching, I have not found another Teapot that resembles this one in any way. This could be a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity for someone who appreciates the Beauty and Quality of a piece like this one to acquire what may be a one of a kind, If anyone has any additional information on the history of this piece or one similar, I welcome your input. Please refer to photos for additional description and condition. Please ask any questions prior to purchasing Thank You.
