Antique/Primitive Chairs – I have four vintage chairs that were purchased in Mifflintown, PA at a farm auction in the 1950’s. They look to be made sometime between 1890 and turn of the century and do not appear to be machine made. Two are unfinished and two have a varnish or finish coat on them. A friend suggested the chairs are called “primitives” referring to handmade items etc but I have no idea. Anyone have thoughts or can offer information? I am looking to sell them and would like to know their value as well. Thank you for your help.
