World War 2 Stop sign

Can anyone tell me what this steel, stamped stop sign might be worth? It is restamped from a sign that read something about “school days, parking, 5pm”. I’m very curious and would appreciate any help or direction in who to contact. Thanks so much!

Hi Valerie,
I have seen many of these sell at auction between $100 to $125. The yellow stop signs date between 1915 to 1954. The octagonal shape were made after 1922. There are many of these for sale on eBay selling for up to $200. I really don’t believe it will actually sell for that.
