Tim ManasterskiKeymasterThis is a cub scouts pinewood derby racer, I know because I made one with my dad when I was in cub scouts in the 1980s! Jason Butler made this car (probably with help from his parents in 1980), I know this because they put his name and den number clearly marked on the bottom. BTW, I finished last place in the pinewood derby race (my dad didn’t know what grease to use on the wheels and whatever he used slowed it down, instead of speeding it up). It didn’t matter, I still had a great time with my dad and it was more about the time spent together than winning the race.
Vintage cub scout pinewood derby race cars are not very valuable, it’s probably worth the most to Jason Butler. I would estimate the value of your vintage pinewood derby race car to be in the $5-10 dollar range:
