Hello, we found this stove in an old storage unit we’ve had for several years. It’s a Triple Effect No. 5 gas stove with the date April 1895 on the back. It was manufactured by Kahn in Hamilton, Ohio. I’ve look online and found some similar stoves but I can’t find one that the decorative cover on the front covers all 5 pipes. Most of the stoves I found have a smaller decorative cover. All of the stove is complete and it still has the “coals” inside. Does anyone have an idea of what is worth? Should I have it redone or sell as is? Thank you.

    Hi,
I have seen many of these sell at auction. I have never seen a 5 pipe one with the decorative cover that covers all 5 pipes. I have seen a seven pipe one that if the cover was placed on a 5 pipe it would cover all 5 pipes. Not to say they didn’t make one like that. If fully restored I was estimate the value to be between $2100 to $2800. If you choose to sell it as is I would estimate the value between $500 to $700.
You should check into what it would cost to restore.
    Thanks,
