ParticipantI have a vintage set of china inherited from great grandparents… i am enclosing picture. The back of each piece is stamped in ted THRODORE HAVILAND LIMOGES FRANCE PATENT APPLIED FOR. The word Theodore is underlined.. can you give me info on value? Thank you

I do not know of a set this large selling at auction in the past. It looks like you have 2 complete sets and different patterns. I would estimate each set to be worth between $1500 to $2000 each. I would suggest separating the sets and getting a count of each before selling and also if you could find out the name of the patterns. Possibly go through any papers that you may have inherited or ask family members for information. You rarely see a set with soup bowls, serving dishes, creamers, salad plates etc. Knowing the pattern will help determine the age and how rare the set may be. You could possibly have a gold mine on hand. I do know of a set of Schleiger #278 that sold for $900 in 2007 that only included tea cups, saucers, plates and soup bowls.
