Hello Everyone!
I’m looking for a black THATCHER CAST IRON STOVE that was in my family’s apartment when I was a child. I have searched the internet without finding the one that looks like it. Is there a catalog that anyone knows of that would show this stove?
It had 4 burners and a sliding grill on the top, left side of the stove, just under the burners. It had a large, black flue in the center rear and the utensil that you used to lift the burner plate up and off had, what looked like, a “spring” at the end of the handle. This utensil was inserted into an indentation in the burner plate, to facilitate its removal from the stove top.
