Seeking Appraisal For Dining Room Set

I am in the process of selling my home (downsizing) and there is interest in purchasing my dining room set. I have no idea as to the financial value (only sentimental value). It belonged to my grandparents and I believe they purchased it in the 1940s. There are 6 chairs in total (2 with arms). Thank you for any help.

I would estimate your Dining Room Set to be worth between $500 to $600. lot will depend on what type of wood it is made of and if you know the manufacturer. I have seen a mahogany dining set by Bernhardt sell for $3000.

We did find a marking inside a drawer that says: Mount Airy Mantel & Table Company. It is either cherry or mahogany wood.
