ParticipantI am writing as I am in search of answers for a bottle vase I recently purchased. It is approximately 5-6 inches in height. I just found out that it had markings and I was told it’s from Qing Dynasty Yongzheng period. However I’m not quite sure what the other characters said as it didn’t have the normal 6 characters. It had 10. Attached are the photos. I want to see if it’s real before travelling hundreds of miles away to Los Angeles to bring this item. Thank you.

There are many, many fakes and fraudulent antiques for sale. Sometimes they change hands and the current owner is completely oblivious to whether an antique is original or a reproduction. I can’t tell you whether your Yongzheng period vase is real or a reproduction, but the glaze appears to gleam as if brand new…
