Old German(?) inscribed knife identification

Help needed in identification and any information on this old knife – Inscribed/etched with, as far as we can tell, old German writing – translation wanted, if possible – we have tried google translate with little sense made! Wooden carved handle with a head shape. Picture also inscribed on blade – This was bought in with a collection of WW2 German knives. Any info welcome please! (More pictures available – won’t let me load!)
