Hello, I need some info on this padlock I have. It does not have any brand on it. It is 2 3/4″ tall, 1 3/4 wide, 1″ thick, and the bail inside is 1 1/2″. The key needs to be turned 2 times to lock it all the way. It weighs about 8 ounces. It is a real heavy duty lock. I will post some pictures of it.

Hi xraycourier,

I don’t believe your lock is a antique. I’ve never seen that particular one, but it appears new to me. I would say it’s either a reproduction to look old from India or it’s just a heavy duty lock from Eastern europe from the 1940s or newer.

I would estimate it’s value in the $10-20 dollar range.
