ParticipantI have a stove that came with our house when we purchased it. The house was built in the 1890’s, but not sure if stove was from the same time frame. Can you help with age and value on the stove?

ModeratorHi Katrina,
I believe your stove was built in the early to mid 1900’s. William Mackey Sr. founded the company in South Haven, Michigan, in 1875 but moved to Everett Washington in 1903.
What you have is called a box stove or a portable stove because of the size it is easy to move.
I would estimate your stove between $60 to $75 if it does work. I have seen some in better condition and at auction they bring $175 to $200.Hope this helps,

ModeratorHi Amy,
I would estimate your PD Beckwith Round Oak B-14 stove between $450 to $475 based on what I have seen sell at auction. I have seen one go for $600 but it had been restored.
Below is one that sold in 2012 it was listed as a D-14:
Thanks,
