This artifact was purchased many years ago in South Asia. It is an octagonal dish, 143mm at the widest, 10mm height (vertical distance, base to lip). Where the dish doesn’t have other engravings, it is 3mm thick. Weight is 444 grams. Material may be cast bronze. There are 8 heads/faces in profile around the outer perimeter. All have beards, 7 have crowns. They are arranged in pairs, with each pair facing each other. In the middle is a kingly figure wearing a robe with a shield in his left hand. At his feet is a wolf (dog?). He is riding a swan (Apollo and Hyperborean swan?). Two other smaller faces face him on either side. Not sure if it is genuine. Any ideas? Thank you in advance!
