KeymasterHi Justin,
Your have a smokehouse padlock manufactured by my favorite victorian era company Russell & Erwin!
I don’t see that particular padlock in the 1865 Russell & Erwin catalog, but Russell & Erwin had a line of smokehouse padlocks that they marked US on the keyhole cover, so I’m fairly certain it was made by Russell & Erwin.
OK, that’s the good news, we know the manufacturer (which is rare) and we know when your padlock was manufactured (mid to late 1800s). However, smokehouse padlocks typically sell in the $30-100 dollar range. Since you have a Russell & Erwin, it might be on the high end, but I doubt it would sell for much more (if sold in a auction).
