I have aquired a metropolitan switchboard recently and would know a little more about it and what it’s worth is. Thank you.

    Hi Derrick,

That’s pretty unusual…still looks usable to me. I don’t know what voltage it was designed for, but it would be safe enough on for 110V circuits. Don’t use it, I’m just kidding. I’ve never seen a piece of switch gear for sale, but if were to guess at a value, I would say around $50-100 dollars. Maybe a little more or a little less, but it should in the ballpark. I would call it a fuse box, not a switch gear, but its really both, it has the fuse holders and the disconnect switches built-in. Very cool antique, I’m sure someone would like to hang it in their man cave or something.
