    The cast iron stove is a true antique, in spite of the damaged top; I
    estimate its value at $4,000.00 to $6,000.00. It had special value to me. It was made in
    about 1900. It was probably used in one of the early Hotel lobbies, which burned in
    1934. It was made in about 1900 or earlier.

    This is the comment my father left about this wood stove..
