Jeremy Braine
ParticipantGood evening,
I have recently placed some items for Auction at Boningtons (23rd Jan) and was told that a Bisque doll had no value. My Mother however is adamant that her item/mold is very rare. I believe the mold number was 385. Its lot 282. The Doll’s head and arms are jointed with wool and she is sitting on a Potty.
Could anyone kindly tell me anymore about the item and whether you may be interested in making an offer prior to the auction, I am still in a position where I can withdraw my Items. Sadly the item is now with them so I can’t send you a better photograph.
Have a nice weekend and I hope to hear from somebody soon
Kind regards
Jeremy Braine

KeymasterHi Jeremy,
Was it Bonington auctioneers who told you your bisque doll on potty has no value? They are a very experienced antique auctions house, so they would be a respectable appraisal source, even more so than myself! I believe your bisque doll to be worth around $20-50 dollars.
