ParticipantHi,
We have an Antique Secretary that was my mothers. It has no markings, so pretty hard to determine what it is. Someone told us it was an Eastlake Secretary. It’s not in the greatest condition, as it looks like it was once painted and refinished. We are wondering what the value is. We also have a Press Back High Chair and a night stand with a triangle label “C.F. Co, Continental Superior Quality. We know nothing about these items.
Thank you for any information you can give us.

Becky Jones OhdeModeratorHi Ruth,
I can not tell a lot with the picture of the secretary desk but I would estimate your desk to be worth between $50 to $125. The type of wood will make a difference in the price. Below are some examples of some similar ones that have sold at auction.

The high chair and night stand were made by the Continental Furniture Co. of High Point, N.C. During the 1920s.
I would estimate your highchair to be worth between $30 to $75
I only know of one other night stand made by the same company and it sold for $200 in 2017 but was made of solid mahogany.
Hope this helps,
