Antique argentinian Padlock whit key

Hi, I’m from Argentina. I have this padlock of my grandfather. It works perfectly. Has a single key. Only padlock weighs approximately 12 ounces
I would like to know how much it is worth. Were can i sell it?

I initial reaction would be say your padlock is worth around $10-20 dollars, but I’m going to consult with my father who is a big antique padlock collector.

I think the BAP stamp on it means, “Buenos Aires al Pacífico S. A”, so that might add significantly to its value.

Yes it is correct, it means “Buenos Aires to the Pacific”, my grandfather was a railway worker, thank you for your prompt response! I thought it might have more value, thanks again

Well, let’s wait for father’s reply, it more an expert in antique padlocks than I am, maybe I’m way off on its value.
