MARKET CAR" is nicely embossed in fancy font on lightly pebbled background on the face of the lock. Lock shows little evidence of RR use and has a nice, age-earned patina. This lock is well known to lock and railroad collectors as the only known production example along with the prototype also available in this auction. A push key is included with this lot. Condition: (Excellent). Dimensions: 2 - 1/4" x 2 - 1/2".
