PLEASE HELP

I found a case of this Colgate tooth powder in 4 ounce tins there are 8 of the red tins and 4 of the white. they were found in an old wooden storage bin they do not look like they have been touched since they were put there they were sitting on newspaper date 1956. My mother in law who owned the house before me and lived in the house since she was a child (60+ yrs)says she has know recollection of these or why they would have a whole case. Although she vaguely remembers using tooth powder when she was little.
