PLEASE HELPHand gold paint beautiful cobalt blue antique vase, 2 pieces, separate base and bowl. It is in perfect conditions with no scratches or paint deterioration, the only fault is that one of the teardrops is missing the top small crystal as seen on the left teardrop. The top bowl of the vase is I.D. with a fingerprint. When bought 20 years ago I was told that is dated end of 18th century. Submit your estimate of worth |

Wow, that's a beautiful portrait vase! Your antique victorian-era bohemian portrait vase is estimated to be worth around $300-400 dollars. It's pretty rare, but here is a similar portrait vase from that era: |

Hi Orlando, I think my first estimate might have been a little low. It's not a vase, but a bohemian portrait compote. http://caseantiques.com/item/lot-57-bohemian-glass-portrait-compote/ http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/11542847_bohemian-cut-overlay-portrait-glass-compote In excellent condition, they sell in the range of $600-1200 dollars. I can't tell from your photos on the condition of your antique. |
