Your bread plate is just like the one on Little House on the Prairie and is indeed from 1885 as shown in the Montgomery wards catalog: http://beyondlittlehouse.com/2009/04/23/the-mystery-of-the-oval-glass-bread-plate/ So, both collectors of bread plates and little house of the prairie collectors would be interested in buying it. Bread plates from this era are fairly common and sell in the range of $30-100 dollars. However, since yours is the same one as the little house of the prairie, I think it might be work a little bit more in the $100-150 dollar range. |
