PLEASE HELP

I have recently purchased an antique/vintage bedroom set. I don't really know much about old furniture so if you have any clues as to who made it or anything I would love the info. The bedroom set had a full size headboard and footboard, vanity and chest of drawers. Photo is of the vanity. Here are my thoughts on the set. each piece has a stamp on the back that says M-1839 Wal. ( this tells me it was factory made, number is probably the model number, and the wood is walnut) All of the drawers are dove tailed and you can openly see the nails that were used in construction on the inside of the piece, there are no drawer guides, only 2 staples in the front as drawer stops. there are screws in the back that hold on the mirror and all screws are old and only flat head screws. all of the pieces are on wood casters. As for the front , from just looking at the picture it looks like it would be veneer inlay, however I believe this is actually a painted print, or a paper print to make it look expensive and the routered detail lines are painted with a yellow wash. I believe that from what I have read that this could be from the late 20s to 30s and would have been a depression era, possibly what they call "Borax furniture" which was at the time a very inexpensive furniture made to "look" expensive. I would welcome any thoughts on this.
