PLEASE HELP1800s antique chinese armoire is 67"hx54"wx22"d. Very sturdy has peg construction made i believe of cypress. Has 2 sets of double doors and 4 single doors with wooden slide locks on inside. Has 4 drawers with trees carved in them. The upper doors have paintings of chinese event with women carrying lantern and bowl of flowers. The lower doors have flowers and birds on them. This was purchased in Nashville, TN for 3500.00. Hi Barbara, You have a very beautiful piece but the estimated value here in the states is between $1500 and $3000. That is the range for very similar antique Chinese armoires. There is one for sale exactly like yours in Melbourne, Australian asking price is $950. This fact could increase the value.
