    I found this coin 30 years ago and cant find anywhere ..anyone got any ideas on value ?

    Hi,
    It is hard to tell by a photo if this is an original or a reproduction of a Chinese dollar . A reproduction sells for between $8 to $10. If not a reproduction and is solid silver I have seen them go for as high $160. I would recommend taking it to a coin dealer to find out if it is the real thing. One Chinese tael weighs 37.7994 grams. Tael, a Chinese unit of weight that, when applied to silver, was long used as a unit of currency.
