InactiveHi There!
I’m moving, and have several furniture pieces that belonged to my grandmother. I’m 60, so that gives you an idea of their general age 🙂 I know NOTHING about antiques, or selling them, but I can’t take any of these with me. I’m in the Denver, Colorado area btw.
I’m posting two picture here, and the others in a subsequent post (for acceptable file size) but I have some other photos if needed. I have 2 of those tables. They have an inset star on the top, and burned-in stamps on the bottom that say “Lane Altavista, VA Reg US Patent, Style No 1925 Serial No 951310.
Thank you so much for your help everyone!!

ParticipantHello
I ave several large antique pieces that I need to sell before I move out of state simply because they are big & I’m downsizing. These items have been around for over 60 years & in my possession for 20. I have no experience or knowledge on antiques but I do know that they are antique. I happen to prefer that style over contemporary. I have no clue as to their worth and would appreciate any help from you. I will attempt to upload pictures for your review. Thank you kindly in advance for your help.

ParticipantHi. I think im in the right place. Ive never been on anything like this so i really dont know what to do. .me and fiancee are remodeling i guess and in the process of buying new things for our home we have come across lots if items we are considering selling in a yard sale or going online to sell. As we are going through these things we are not sure if anything is valueable or antiques or anything like that. We have come across different items such as lamps, paintings, furniture, figurines and my favorite a 3-4 foot statue of david!and im sure theres more im forgetting at the moment. So I guess my next step would be to figure out how to take pictures of the items and upload them to this site. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! And hopefully next time you hear from me ill have lots of pictures to show and i wont be as Clueless

ParticipantThese are cool furniture, if you can’t turn this to cash you can just donate to charity or foundation that needs it. Badly need of this style of door http://caldwells.com/exterior-doors, do you have them on your lists.

ParticipantHi. I have two pieces that were purchased in 1936 and have been in my family since. They are a chest of drawers and a dresser. They are solid wood and have beautiful inlaid wood patterns. The chest of drawers has the original Bakelite handles. Can anyone tell me what the value of these are?
Thank you very much.Attachments:
