Milk glass flower frog

It does appear to be a flower frog or a device used to help arrange flowers. It’s pretty unique, most flower frogs are plain and placed inside of another decorative piece of glassware. Milk glass originates in the 16th century, but I would guess your piece was probably produced between the 1930s and the 1960s. It’s just a wild guess, milk glass is still made to this day, so its also a possibility that its a modern piece.
