This E.T. Fraim padlock was custom built for the Canadian NORTHERN Railways prior to the company being nationalized and converted to the The Canadian National Railway ( same initials.) The name ” The E.T. Fraim Lock Co.” is clearly embossed onto the locking shank with ” Lancaster, PA. USA” on the reverse. It is in good condition with the brass being bright and the body clearly showing the letters ” C.N.R.”. The key has been lost.
