ParticipantHey everyone. I’m usually good at online research but the only luck I’ve had tracking this down is an expired eBay listing that’s similar but not exact. Front says Henri Lagin, Fils Et Cie. The interior battery compartment says General Electric and “made in West Germany”. The battery compartment looks to be corroded though I haven’t tried to clean it yet – and it’s a metal clock casing. TIA

Tim ManasterskiKeymasterThe “made in west Germany” information gives us a firm date range of manufacture. The west Germany designation lasted 41 years from 1949 to 1990, so your clock was manufactured in this time period. The use of the white plastic on the bottom also helps us date the clock. The white plastic looks injection molded and this manufacturing process didn’t become popular until the 1960s, so I believe your Henri Lagin clock is more likely from the 1960’s to 1980’s time period. Using the antique’s navigator price guide search and searching for West Germany in the Clocks category gives us a large price range:
However, using the antique’s navigator price guide search and searching for Henri Lagin only gives us three results and one of them looks almost identical to your clock!
Based on all this information, I would estimate your Henri Lagin clock with West Germany movement is worth between $35 and $75 dollars.
