I have a Black Starr and Frost silver plate and have not been able to find any info about it. Can you tell me what it is and what it’s worth?

Black Starr and Frost is the oldest continuously operating jeweler in the United States. They merged with the Gorham Corporation in 1929, so your piece is from 1929 or later since it has the Gorham name on it. I would estimate your sterling silver Black Starr and Frost silver plate to be worth between $300-800 dollars.

I have a Forbes quadruple silver plated small jewelry/change box stamped with 1100. I am trying to find out what it may be worth and if there is anyone in las vegas nevada who may be interested in buying it

I have the Black Starr and Frost Plate and I’m wondering if you can tell me how you know it is sterling and not silver plated? I have been researching silver marks and it is very confusing!!Thank-you!
