RARE CHILD ABC TIN PLATE WHO KILLED COCKROBIN
This is a Rare Children’s ABC or Alphabet Tin Ware Plate. It measures about 7 ¾ inches in diameter with the alphabet running around the rim. The center features the children’s nursery rhyme “Who Killed Cock Robin…….”. Recent gold paint covers the overall rusting that has occurred. It has bends and dents usually associated with these late 19th Century toy plates. The points were it has rusted through can been seen in the last photo that shows the plate being held up to a light.
