BISQUE DOLLS WONDERFUL CHIN CHIN BISQUE DOLL WITH HER LABEL ON HER CHEST. SHE IS A GERBRUDER HEUBACH DOLL CIRCA 1919 WITH JOINTED ARMS THAT ARE A LITTLE LOOSE. SHE IS 4 INCHES TALL WITH AN EXQUISITELY PAINTED FACE, A PINK HAT WITH GREEN TRIM, A TASSEL, LONG BLACK BRAID AND PINK SHOES. A RARE DOLL TO FIND AND EXPECIALLY IN SUCH WONDERFUL CONDITION AND STILL HAVE HER TAG.

Antique Doll made in Germany. Has slight discoloration of right check. Replaced arms. Nicely dressed. Open mouth, jointed body, bisque head and compo body. Circa: 1880-1910. 16 in height. No other markings on the doll. She is in very good condition.

ANTIQUE FRENCH BOUDOIR BED DOLL. Her body is cloth and I cant tell if her face is papiermache or composition. Her hair is of mohair. She is quite old and shows it too. However there is no real damage. Here hair is thin in the back. Her original clothes are messy but in good shape. Her face is lovely however a bit dirty at the time I took the picture.

It has been a long time since anyone has seen this Old Doll and we doubt there are many still in existence. These Dolls were manufactured when Organ Grinders would visit public streets and play for coins. Some had live trained Monkeys in their homes as Pets. Doll shows wear on face with partial peeling, but has maintained its charm. Still has the original string that hangs from his Bell Hat. Partial Original tag on side displays USA Patent.

Black Americana Boy & Girl Antique Rag Dolls
Black Americana antique boy & girl dolls. Great example of Black America folk art. This is the finest set of dolls Ive ever had. Most Black Americana rag dolls were generally made either by the childrens mothers, or the caretakers of children. These Black American child dolls are dressed in vintage materials, this fabric was from an upper class family. The bodies are a silky fabric. These dolls feature much sought features: thumbs, faces stitched from several fabric creating a delicate face, finely embroidered features, legs & arms attached. These dolls were made with great detail & show a lot of love! They have black yarn hair. This pair of Black American dolls are dressed in a satiny dress with lace insert, his shirt is similar. Her dress has a white lace insert. Both rag dolls wear hand sewn flannel booties. The Black American boy doll He is a wearing underwear & wears a cap, both unusual features. HE HAS A VERY DETAILED FACE WITH PAINTED SIDE-GLANCE EYES, ROSY CHEEKS AND NICE RED MOTH. HE IS WRAPPED IN HIS PATTERED INDIAN BLACKET WITH A PRINT SHIRT, TAN FELT PANTS AND WRAPPED, WOODEN FEET. HE ALSO HAS HIS STRING OF BEADS AROUND HIS NECK. HE IS A WONDERFUL FIND.
