Weller Pottery Plaque McKinley
William McKinley, the 25th President of the United States, is the subject of this pottery plaque made by Weller Pottery. He was President from 1897-1901. The political plaque, which really looks like a small dish, measures 4 1/2" in diameter. Weller Pottery was in business from 1872 - 1948, in Zanesville, Ohio. These plaques were said to have been made for the St. Louis Worlds Fair, circa 1904. In very nice condition. Impressed Weller on the back, twice. Independence Hall Mug
Maker undocumented, possibly Boston & Sandwich, 1876. This souvenired mug is etched "1876’ and "Asenathy" is surrounded by a well done etched wreath. Certainly a souvenir of the 1876 Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition. The bottom is impressed with the Independence Hall Building, surrounded by "1876" and "Independence Hall."
