Vintage, estate pair of 18carat gold and emerald earrings. Exact date and origin are not known. The seller thought they were Columbian "because thats where the emeralds came from", but I have no evidence of that, although the style is certainly in keeping with Latin America. Earrings, excluding the loops are approximately 1 1/4 inches long. Weigh 4.8 grams. Earrings in the shape of a cross / crucifix with radiating gold rays from the upper intersection and engraved rays on the fleur de lis shaped bottoms. Easy to insert loops. The emerald-cut emeralds are particularly lovely in colour and well matched. Hallmarked on the backs: 18k. Good condition.
