(The Cola-Cola Company authorized The Ertl Company, Inc. to market a Collector Series of Die-Cast Metal Banks representing vehicles used for distribution of COCA-COLA. These high-quality scale replicas feature durable die-cast metal construction, realistic rubber tires and authentic decoration for the time period the vehicles were used. In 1931, The Coca-Cola Company commissioned American illustrator Haddo Sundblom to create an image of Santa Claus for use in a seasonal advertising campaign. Over the next three decades, Sundbloms vision of Santa Claus became the vision of people worldwide. This die-cast metal bank - THE SECOND IN A SERIES of CHRISTMAS COLLECTOR BANKS being produced, a HARD-TO-FIND item.) Features one of Sundbloms enchanting images of Santa on a vintge replica 1931 Hawkeye Delivery Truck. Issued 1994, is even dated on the side of the truck, Greetings from Coca-Cola 1994. Striking fire engine red truck, Santa advertisement picture on the side of truck holding a handful of Coca-Cola bottles. The back of truck is hauling yellow wooden crates of bottles of Coke.
