A splendid and beautifully patinaed Prayer Chair made from solid beech by the end of the 19th century, intricately embellished with a central cross surrounded by interlaced acanthus and foliate patterns and providing its original upholstery which is indeed in used condition. The previous owner to protect the original upholstery added a recent one which you can see covering the upper section of the piece. The original fabric is a little bit torn here and there.
