PLEASE HELP

I have a collection of teacups and saucers from all over the world , which they are numbered, my father in law left of a trunk full of heirlooms and amongst them was over 150 pcs. His great grandfather was Captain Irving G Hay , who piloted the USS ALABAMA thru the Panama Canal. So we are in possession of all his memorabilia from Peru, the Panama Canal and Navy , I have pictures of Queen Elizabeth II with the Duke Of Edinburgh on the ship touring the canal zone. Someone advised me to show this collection to an antique dealer to see what I have is of value. I would appreciate any help you can give me or advice on who may be the person to contact for a collection such as this. I did contact the WWII D Day Museum, they did tell me that they did not have the resources to purchase such an extensive collection but if I found a collector to purchase it , they would love to have it on loan. Thank You for your time, Michelle C. Wilcox 504-228-2291 New Orleans, la If you would like to view the pieces I have them on my Facebook page.
