Hi Rachel,
The Los Angeles brewing company was founded in 1897 and was located on the L.A. River near Lincoln Park in Los Angeles CA. I believe it was purchased by Zobelein in 1907 and was used to make a line of beers called Eastside lager. This historical information would date your villeroy and Boch jug in the 1897-1907 time frame. Your beer jug is a great garage sale find and would be valued in the $300-500 dollar range.
